The 1 Second Film at Kresge College

You're invited to the Kresge Town Hall this Wednesday (9PM, late enough so off-campus friends can park on-campus, so pass this along to them too :)), for a presentation by award-winning animator Nirvan Mullick about the collaborative production and grassroots promotion of The 1 Second Film, a non-profit, hand-painted IMAX project celebrating women's sexuality and benefiting the Global Fund for Women.

The presentation lasts around 90 minutes, including an overview of the project's genesis, progress, and future, accompanied by footage from an accompanying making of documentary of the different teams creating frames and the filmmakers sneaking into festivals and approaching various celebrities - some high, and some low - for donations. The filmmakers will also discuss how those interested in the project can become involved as a producer (and be credited on IMDb) for as little as $1.
